First year of college is done! I’m off school for the summer! Can’t believe I am writing that! Feels a bit strange to be in college at 30. But being a student again made me redesign my career and made me aware of where I want to go next. I have learned many new things during this year, my knowledge grew and I grew with it. Now I need to break my piggy bank to book a week away and relax. Need to recharge the batteries!
I truly believe knowledge is power and it’s the best investment you can make – invest in yourself. Studying feeds my curiosity, makes me come closer understanding how the world works. At the same time it makes me wonder even more and it makes me want to know even more. I am feeding my brain all the information it requires, it’s like going to the Gym – the Brain Gym – replace the protein shakes with “full fill your curiosity” shakes.
The decisions I took recently were not always the best decisions, but they created the path I am on now. And yes, I did feel that I hit rock bottom sometimes. But you know what’s great about hitting rock bottom? There’s only one way left to go, and that is up!
